TGIF..Fenway Hawk...He's having a baby, and more
Everyone is talking about the 13-year-old girl touring Fenway Park on a school trip who wasattacked by a red-tailed hawk that drew blood from her scalp.
She wasn't seriously hurt, but many fans see an omen for a certain New York Yankees slugger in the attack at the home of the Boston Red Sox. The girl's name is Alexa Rodriguez.
The hawk was perched on a railing in the upper deck behind home plate while the group toured the stadium. The hawk flew at the girl and swooped with its talons extended, scratching her scalp.
The girl is okay, according to her teacher.
The reason? A single egg lay in the hawk's nearby nest in an overhang near the stadium's press booth.
The nest and egg were removed at the direction of state wildlife officials.
What ever happened to Kathie Lee?
Kathie Lee Gifford, who shared the TV spotlight and coffee with Regis Philbin for 15 years, is returning to the morning airwaves next month.
Gifford, 54, will join "Today," and will co-host the newly launched fourth hour of the top-rated U.S. morning show with NBC News correspondent Hoda Kotb, starting on April 7, according to the network.
About the 'man' who is having a baby....
He told Oprah on her show,
"It's not a male or female desire to have a child. It's a human desire, I have a very stable male identity," he added, saying that pregnancy neither defines him nor makes him feel feminine. The 'man' is three months pregnant.
One of the most popular e-mail photos around is this;

I don't know the details of this but, I sure hope that a) this person has talked to Jenny Craig, b) the chair made it, and c) she isn't an American.
BTW, if I look like this from behind, please don't take any pics of me.
Kudos to you sir.
David Sneath has worked at a Ford Motor Co. parts warehouse for 34 years.
It didn't take him any time at all to walk out once he discovered he had won a $136 million Mega Millions jackpot.
"I yelled to the boss, 'I'm out of here,'" Sneath said Thursday after going to state lottery headquarters in downtown Lansing to pick up his first $1 million check.
