Remember that bailout plan that was defeated? The Senate is set to vote on a revised financial industry rescue bill. Leaders have agreed to add tax breaks for businesses and the middle class and increase deposit insurance in an attempt to revive the legislation rejected by the House.

A fallout from the bailout bill. The servers hosting the Web sites of the House of Representatives and its members have been overwhelmed with millions of e-mails in the past few days. The result has been 404 pages (This page cannot be displayed...)


In making the announcement, legislators said the public could view the agreement at financialservices.house.gov.
