Best Buy Co. will start selling the iPhone on September 7th. Best Buy is the first U.S. chain to do so outside of Apple Inc.'s and AT&T Inc.'s own stores.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs has confirmed that the iPhone 3G has a kill switch that can remotely remove software from the devices. Jobs told The Wall Street Journal that Apple needs the capability in case it inadvertently allows a malicious program -- such as an application that steals user's personal data -- to be distributed to iPhones through its App Store.
"Hopefully we never have to pull that lever, but we would be irresponsible not to have a lever like that to pull," Jobs said.

8 Year Old Guitar Wiz
Have you heard this kid?
Tallan "T-Man" Latz says that when was 5, he saw Joe Satriani playing guitar on TV. "I turned around to my dad and said, 'That's exactly what I want to do.'"
8-year-old Tallan is a blues guitar prodigy. He's played in bars and clubs, including the House of Blues in Chicago, and even jammed with Les Paul and Jackson Browne. He has a summer of festivals scheduled and has drawn interest from venues worldwide.
Now Tallen is singing the Blues as his home state of Wisconsin wants to limit his playing locals to kid-friendly only. Check out his MySpace to see who has influenced him and the venues he has played (with Jackson Browne for one).
